The first step toward peace is creating a connection with another person and continues as we connect with people we know and then those we don't yet know, as we build literal and figurative bridges between neighborhoods, faith communities and nations.

True peacemakers are those who have the courage, compassion and creativity to take that first step forward, inspiring others to follow. Peacework continues as we reach out to one another and cross the bridges that can connect us.

In cooperation with the annual peace celebration 2017 Art of Peace - Tyler and in honor of the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21InSpiritry will publish a collection of poems to be called, Building Bridges - Making Peace.
