In cooperation with the 2019 Art of Peace - Tyler celebration of the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 21, InSpiritry  Publishing is publishing on the Art of Peace website (www.tylerpeace.com) a virtual anthology of peace poems called Living Peace.

Poems must be submitted online through Submittable, with submissions accepted May 3 through July 31, 2018.  SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE POET CONTACT INFORMATION INCLUDING CITY/STATE/COUNTRY AND EMAIL ADDRESS!

There is no fee for entering.

Each poet may submit one poem. Submitted poems should be 28 lines or less, in Times New Roman 12-point font with a limit of about 45 characters per line. Submissions may be previously published, so long as the rights have returned to the poet; if published, please note the original publication with your submission.

The 2019 Art of Peace theme and poetry collection title is Living Peace, a theme we hope will lead to uplifting responses that consider peacemaking, as well as more metaphorical aspects of the phrase, Living Peace. Poems will be selected based on attention to the suggested theme, poetic mastery, and compelling perspectives.

Poets will be notified of the editorial committee’s selections in mid-August, with the pdf of the 2019 anthology posted on September 14, the first day of the 2019 Art of Peace – Tyler celebration.

All poets are invited to an open mic of peace poetry and music on Friday, September 20, in Tyler, Texas, as part of the 2018 Art of Peace Tyler celebration. Details to follow.
